Le Pont de la Tour is part of the D&D London group, with this particular venture offering riverside views while you fine on classic French cuisine just moments away from Tower Bridge. It’s a truly special location for a private dining experience and occasions spanning birthdays, wine tastings and corporate dinners have all been known to grace its Parisian-chic spaces.
There are two private dining rooms at Le Pont de la Tour to choose from, not including the main restaurant area if you’re hosting a larger gathering. Together, the rooms can host between 10 and 300 people. The main private dining area is the Salon Prive, located at the far end of the main restaurant, which is accessible via the wine cellar and has the capacity to hold up to 20 people (seated). This rather magnificent room is decorated in an art-deco style, reminiscent of Paris in the 1930s, with one long table in the centre of the room, vibrant wallpaper and artworks on the walls.
The Wine Cellar is a slightly larger room, with a capacity of up to 23 people (seated) for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Guests can feast their eyes on the walls lined with vintage bottles from around the world while they dine. This room is semi-private with the buzz of the main restaurant just moments away. Le Pont de la Tour also offer their own sommelier team who will be able to advise on bespoke wine pairings at your event.
Inspiration for the menu is taken from classic French cuisine, while using the freshest British produce, and putting an innovative spin on well-loved dishes. Starters might include ballotine of duck liver (fois gras) with cepes, spiced plum preserve and toasted brioche, while mains are similarly rich with things like roast chicken with Bayonne ham, cavolo nero, walnut and truffle ketchup and fois gras veloute.
