About Kanishka

Description

From the expertise of acclaimed, twice awarded Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar comes Kanishka, a fine dining experience serving up Indian cuisine in the heart of Mayfair. If looking for a special place to host family or friends, throw a birthday party or important client meeting, the team at Kanishka pride themselves on their first-class ability to host event bookings in the private dining rooms or main restaurant.

For those planning an intimate soiree, there are three private dining rooms to choose from, each one catering for between 16 to 22 people. With sumptuous interiors in a range of neutral shades and luxurious materials, these ambient spaces are a picture of sophistication and would suit any occasion from corporate lunches to anniversary celebrations.

If imagining a bigger bash, why not take over Kanishka's colourful main dining room and bar? With turquoise walls, punchy monochrome stripes and contemporary seating, it's a stylish backdrop that will no doubt look fabulous on pictures and can seat up to 65 guests, or host 120 standing.

Private dining guests are invited to choose from one of the celebration menus which span amethyst, emerald and sapphire options. Each menu offers a set three courses with dishes such as Kesar Kofta, mango and goji berries-stuffed cottage cheese dumplings with malai curry, or Subz Dum Biryani, seasonal vegetables dum-cooked with aromatic basmati rice and spices.

For more casual affairs, canapes and bowl food works equally well and the chefs at Kanishka have some great options for this, too. Across the list of canapes you'll find example such as a naga paneer and capsicum skewer, amritsari fish finger with tamarind ketchup and masala prawn cocktail on a sago cracker. While bowl food options include seabass moilee curry with jeera rice and butter chicken khichadi with poppadum and pickle.
