Set on Maddox Street, Goodman Mayfair’s iconic private dining space takes cues from classic American steakhouses, complete with premium cuts, steak-friendly wines, and seamless service. You’ll find it just off Regent Street, within walking distance of Bond Street, Green Park, and Oxford Circus stations, where it’s stood as the flagship Goodman restaurant since 2008.
Located just off the main restaurant, the private dining room is a flexible space decorated in deep rich tones, with dark wood tables, leather banquettes, and black and white photographs with premium bottles of wine set on shelves along the walls. Dining layouts allow for flexibility, seating up to 28 guests on separate large tables throughout the space, or one long central table in the middle.
Goodman Mayfair’s private dining menus highlight the very best of the à la carte selection, packed with top-shelf cuts pulled from the restaurant's dry ageing room. There are three sharing style menus available, each at varying price points: the ‘Classic’, ‘Experience’, and ‘Chef’s Choice’.
While it depends on which you go for, starters may include the likes of prawn tempura with avocado and gochujang mayonnaise, seared Devon scallops with celeriac puree and truffle, and Puglian burrata with tomatoes and fig balsamic. Mains, meanwhile, offer a selection of grass-fed heritage breed steaks reared in the UK, with the premium ‘Chef’s Choice’ menu including further cuts from Australia alongside A5 Japanese Wagyu. All come with a selection of side dishes like truffle and parmesan chips, spiced carrots, and tenderstem broccoli.
For dessert, expect indulgent tiramisu and Goodman’s signature cheesecake served with mixed berry compote and raspberry coulis. Drinks, meanwhile, include classic cocktails and Goodman signatures, alongside a hefty Coravin wine list that’s well placed to cater to all private dining occasions, from birthday celebrations to client entertainment.
