A well-regarded resident of Jermyn Street for more than 70 years, this tasteful Italian restaurant is as big a hit now with the community and visitors to St James’s as it was when it first opened, thanks to its excellent food and courteous staff. It’s also very nicely situated for private dining and sports three spaces in which to entertain clients, colleagues and friends.
Each private dining space at Franco’s can be set up to suit your needs, whatever the occasion. From board room style private meetings, product launches, presentations and seminars to cocktail and dinner parties, family gatherings, birthdays and anniversaries, Franco’s is a lovely setting for events for up to 50 guests, with excellent food and drink provisions to match.
The Wine Cellar is situated at the back of the lower ground floor and can comfortably seat up to 14 guests around one long table. Its wooden floors, comfortable chairs and in-built wine cases make it a warm and inviting space that’s ideal for private lunches and celebratory dinners, while the air conditioning, plasma screen, wifi, DVD player and surround sound make it the perfect spot for breakfast meetings and presentations.
If it’s a larger, semi-private space you’re looking for, try Franco’s Mirror Room. Located at the front of the lower ground floor, the room can easily accommodate up to 30 guests over two tables (or 16 guests on one) and comes with wifi, surround sound and air conditioning.
Those looking for an even larger space will be pleased to know that the entire lower ground floor, which encompasses the two rooms, can be remodelled into an impressive private dining room for up to 50 guests over five tables.
Private parties can opt to dine from Franco’s a la carte menu, which includes plenty of classic Italian dishes, or from the special canapé menu. All the team ask is for a minimum of a 48 hours’ notice to prepare canapés.
