Private dining at Chet’s offers multiple distinct spaces for group gatherings, celebrations and special occasions. The restaurant’s menus centre on its Thai Americana cooking, combining Southeast Asian flavours with the influence of classic American diner dishes. As for spaces, The Hoxton comes armed with 'The Apartment' - a homely space that gives off an elegant but comfortable dinner party atmosphere.
For smaller groups, The Study provides an intimate private dining space seating up to 14 guests. Interiors showcase proper midcentury design, complete with neutral prints, terracotta hues and smooth wood furniture. Dinners here congregate around a central table, lending a sense of intimacy. It works well for birthday dinners, small celebrations or group meals where guests want a dedicated table while remaining close to the main dining room.
Larger gatherings can make use of the Dining Room and Living Room together, or for up to 34 guests set across smaller round tables, or arranged along two long banquet tables positioned beneath chandelier-style lighting. Dark wooden floors and rugs define the dining area, while neutral walls and soft furnishings create a comfortable setting. A nearby seating area allows guests to move through for drinks or conversation before or after dinner. Celebrating with a smaller group, you can separate the spaces for groups of 18 or look to The Library for 16-person private dining.
Group dining menus are centred around Chet’s party feast, a three-course menu designed for sharing, with several options available to suit different budgets. Starters may include dishes such as larb gai, a Thai minced chicken salad with lime, fish sauce and chilli, or prawn toast. Main dishes range from pineapple fried rice and tuna melt to coconut fish curry or twice-cooked aubergine, served with sides such as sticky rice, papaya salad, and loaded tater tots for the table. Desserts include offerings such as apple pie with miso caramel, American pancakes or panna cotta. Drinks menus feature wine, beer, mocktails, soft drinks and cocktails including Chet’s Bloody Caesar, Return of the Mak and Thai sours.
