With a remarkable history that dates back to 1638, Belvedere is a prestigious venue in the heart of Holland Park. Under the current owners - George Bukhov-Weinstein and Ilya Demichev of Goodman, Burger & Lobster and Wild Tavern - Belvedere has all the ingredients for a truly special private celebration.
Belvedere is home to an intimate, private dining alcove, named ‘The Loggia.’ With a capacity of up to 20 guests, this space is perfect for small-scale occasions, professional meetings and personal moments. Overlooking the grand dining room, The Loggia is decorated with wicker chairs, arabesque chandeliers and terracotta walls. The space blends rustic charm with opulent touches, creating an environment that feels both approachable and exclusive.
Heading up the kitchen is chef Lello Favuzzi - previously L’Anima and Mortimer House - and his cooking showcases the premium produce of Italy. Dishes use locally-sourced ingredients from villages across the country - think black winter tomatoes from Sicily, and earthy porcini mushrooms from Umbria. To start, enjoy grilled artichoke with salsa verde, bluefin tuna salad, and calamari fritti. Saffron ravioli, whole lobster linguine, and potato gnocchi with green asparagus make up the pasta offering, while beef tartare with quail egg, and wild sea bass ceviche are a taste of the raw menu. Classic main dishes include king oyster mushrooms, wild seabass fillet, and grilled wild turbot, and there’s a delicious truffle pizza too.
No Italian meal is complete without an indulgent tiramisu, and Belvedere’s version is coated in crunchy hazelnut nibs. An impressive wine list and prestigious cocktail menu complement the food, while professional and attentive service adds a finishing touch.
If you’re looking to celebrate an intimate occasion in one of London’s most iconic venues, The Loggia is beautiful, charming and delicious in equal measure.
