Christmas parties at Chet’s offer something a little different for the festive season. The restaurant’s Thai-Americana menu combines Southeast Asian flavours with the comforting influence of classic American diner dishes, creating a distinctive option for seasonal celebrations with friends, family or colleagues. During the winter months, the restaurant, which is located inside The Hoxton in Shepherd’s Bush, is decorated with Christmas trees, seasonal decorations and sparkling lights, creating a celebratory backdrop for end-of-year dinners and office parties.
Groups can book one of the restaurant’s private dining spaces depending on the size of the celebration. The Stufy provides a smaller setting for more intimate gatherings, seating up to 14 guests around a banquet-style table. The room is all about midcentury design, featuring a rich terracotta palette, with subtle prints and a more homely character. For larger Christmas events, hiring the Living Room and Dining Room together can accommodate up to 34 guests across separate tables. Combining these two areas makes it feel as though you're celebrating in a relaxed apartment setting.
Seasonal group menus showcase the restaurant’s Thai-Americana flavours through a selection of dishes designed for sharing. Starters include offerings like prawn toast, tingling onion with five spice or sticky wings fried and glazed. Main dishes might feature Chet’s Bodega sandwich, crispy rice salad or coconut fish curry, with additional sides available for the table. Desserts include options such as apple pie or panna cotta with coconut, pineapple and shiso. Drinks menus feature wine, beer and cocktails, including Chet’s Bloody Caesar, Return of the Mak, lychee martinis and Thai sours.
The dining room itself reflects the restaurant’s Thai Americana concept, with dusky pink walls, terracotta-toned booth seating and light wooden tables. A central bar surrounded by greenery anchors the space, while soft lighting and table lamps add warmth during evening celebrations.
