Tobacco Dock’s Skylight is all set to become one of this summer’s best rooftops for events. Once just an east London carpark, it spans three levels with multiple bars and views of all the big skyscrapers.
But what’s really unique is the lawn-club vibe – brought on by the bowls, croquet and petanque facilities. Between games, everyone’s kept watered with a selection of spritzes and cocktail pitchers, and there’s street food in the form of burgers from We Serve Humans and souvlaki from Yiro.
Tables can be reserved for 10 or more. If you’re cooking up something bigger, it’s good to know the whole venue is available for exclusive hire for up to 650 guests.
