The National Maritime Museum offers one of Greenwich’s most impressive settings for large-scale events, combining historic architecture, contemporary spaces and a prime location within the Maritime Greenwich UNESCO World Heritage Site. With capacity for up to 1,000 guests, the museum can host everything from conferences and award ceremonies to gala dinners, drinks receptions, exhibitions, and private celebrations.
At its heart is Neptune Court and the Great Map, an expansive atrium where 18th-century architecture meets a dramatic glass roof. At the other end of the scale, the Plymouth and Portland Rooms accommodate around 16 guests, with marble fireplaces and windows overlooking the Queen’s House and Canary Wharf creating an elegant backdrop for meetings or private dining.
Events can be tailored with external catering, bespoke food and drink packages, dance floors and different furniture configurations, while outdoor areas offer further possibilities. High-speed Wi-Fi, parking, video-conferencing facilities and accessible spaces add practical benefits.
