Looking for somewhere a little magical to host your next event? Enchanted Garden Events does it all; a wholesome, attentively-run, countryside setting for all kinds of events in Hertfordshire. Located between Hitchin and Letchworth in the Green Belt, the venue combines open meadow spaces, woodland clearings and rustic structures to create an environment that feels at one with nature and can customised just for you.
Available exclusively between April and October, Enchanted Garden Events is designed for occasions that make the most of the outdoors. Surrounded by greenery and open skies, the venue allows celebrations to unfold at your own pace, with space for guests to gather, dine and enjoy the surroundings. Its rural setting offers a sense of escape while remaining easily accessible from London and neighbouring counties thanks to nearby rail links and the A1.
The venue centres around two distinctive spaces. The Meadow is a wide, open field bordered by mature trees where the site’s tipis are pitched. These structures form the heart of many events, creating a bohemian reception area complete with rustic tables and chairs, fairy lights, flooring and dance floors. A staffed bar sits within the tipi space, while the surrounding meadow provides plenty of room for drinks receptions, garden games or simply spreading out under the open sky.
A short walk through wooden archways leads to The Glade, a secluded woodland clearing used for ceremonies and intimate gatherings. Seating up to 90 guests, the glade offers a peaceful setting beneath the trees, with space for musicians and personal decorations if desired. Couples can choose to leave the space in its natural state or add their own touches. If the weather turns, a nearby house provides an indoor option, ensuring events can continue smoothly.
The venue is suited to gatherings ranging from 50 to 250 guests and includes exclusive hire of the entire site, permanent indoor restroom facilities, off-grid power for catering and production, and support from an experienced events team who help coordinate the day.
Food also plays an important role in the experience. Meals are prepared on site using ingredients sourced from local suppliers wherever possible. Popular options include generous barbecue menus or mezze-style feasts served family-style to encourage sharing around the table, though bespoke menus can also be created.
