There’s plenty to work with at Doggett’s Coat and Badge when you’re planning an event. Doggett's Thames-side location, four floors, five bars and two outdoor areas give the pub a breadth that’s particularly useful for corporate celebrations, client entertaining, birthday parties, after-work socials and milestone occasions. Events can be arranged across a range of spaces, with options for both seated meals and more informal gatherings.
The Terrace Bar puts London firmly in the frame, with sweeping views across the city and towards St Paul’s. It seats up to 35 guests or accommodates 120 standing, making it particularly suited to summer parties where guests might move between drinks, conversation and food. Doggett’s Bar offers a more substantial setting, with room for up to 80 seated or 110 standing. Its wood-panelled interior and private bar provide a smart backdrop for a company celebration or a lively social occasion.
For smaller groups, Doggett’s Coat and Badge offers use of the Boardroom, which seats up to 20 or can accommodate 35 standing. It’s equipped for meetings and presentations with complimentary Wi-Fi, a projector and screen, flip chart facilities and a 50-inch LCD TV, while tea, coffee and morning pastries can be arranged for daytime gatherings.
Event menus at Doggett’s Coat and Badge offer many options. Seated celebrations can opt for the classic menu, with dishes such as tomato and basil soup, chicken liver and brandy pâté, British steak and Nicholson’s Pale Ale pie, sausage and mash or pan-roasted salmon. The premium menu adds options including lamb shank, chicken forestier, chargrilled sirloin and salmon in a king prawn and lobster fumet. For a more relaxed party, buffet choices range from cheeseburger sliders and pulled beef rib croquettes to calamari, mini lamb and mint pies, salmon and dill fish cakes and salt and pepper chicken wings. Sharing boards and dessert platters are also available.
