Bentley’s Oyster Bar & Grill turned 100 in 2016, cementing its status as one of London's most iconic restaurants. Bentley's has been synonymous with great seafood for many decades, and since chef Richard Corrigan took charge over 15 years ago, this has been a consistent haunt for foodies in search of consistent quality, friendly, homely atmosphere and attentive service.
Bentley's retains much of its old-fashioned charm without feeling stuffy or overly formal, and that makes it a brilliant location for a wide range of private events. Located in the heart of the West End, Bentley’s offers four elegant and stylish private rooms, suitable for anything from private gatherings and parties to corporate events. If you're looking for an elegant venue for a private party that could continue into the early hours, Bentley's Swallow Street Rooms are the perfect place. With a private street level entrance, cloakroom, a full AV suite, a private bar with 3am license and an upright piano, the Swallow Street Rooms are made for late night parties and singalongs. You can hire the two rooms - The Den and The Swallow Library - individually if you prefer, or hire them together with capacity for 30 guests seated or 100 standing.
Head over the road and you'll find two private events spaces adjacent to the restaurant. First there's the beautiful Crustacea Room, bedecked in reds and golds, with studded leather chairs, large sash windows and some of Corrigan's personal artwork collection on the walls. The room is easily set up for banquets and board meetings alike, making it the perfect spot for smaller gatherings or meetings. The Rib Room is a similar size - both have room for about 15 guests - but features a much more contemporary design with polished wood floors and original Bentley's fish prints hanging from the walls. There are a variety of menus available too, from tasting menus to canapes and bowl food, and best of all, Bentley's is ultra-accessible, just a few minutes walk from Piccadilly station.
