Touted as ‘Norfolk’s answer to Downton Abbey’, Bylaugh Hall is a stunning 19th-century country house offering a variety of spaces for both private and corporate hire. Built in 1850, Bylaugh Hall was left in ruin until it underwent a total renovation, transforming into a venue that combines modern facilities with historic charm. Surrounded by 22 acres of grounds and stunning woodlands, this is a peaceful and private venue, suitable for all types of events from business away days to location filming.

If you’re looking for a secluded and spacious venue for a company event, Bylaugh Hall is the perfect option. Boasting high-spec conference facilities including five breakout rooms that each seat 30, the opportunity to book team activities, 100 onsite parking spaces, fast Wifi throughout and even a helipad, Bylaugh has it all. Often working with government faculties to provide a discreet place for private training, it is also possible to hire this venue in its entirety for business events.

Alternatively, for a private celebration, drinks reception or gala dinner, there are also plenty of suitable spaces. The Orangery and the Ballroom are stunning spaces overlooking the Wensum Valley that feature period-style décor, boast a spacious dance floor and can each accommodate up to 150 guests standing. AV and music systems are included in room hire, as well as access to in-house, five-star catering services, and assistance from the dedicated events team who will ensure everything runs smoothly. If you're hiring a space over the warmer months, the marquee is the perfect summer party venue, allowing guests to mingle in the picturesque grounds and take in views of the building’s impressive façade.
