Christmas at The White Horse Parsons Green brings a festive feel to celebrations with a choice of settings and menus designed for everything from company Christmas parties and client entertaining to relaxed gatherings with family and friends. Whether the occasion calls for a sit-down festive dinner or a more informal standing celebration, the pub offers flexible spaces that can be adapted to suit the event.
The Stable Room is the largest of the spaces, accommodating up to 65 guests seated or 100 standing. Its open-plan layout makes it particularly well suited to larger Christmas parties, with flexible arrangements and a private bar for exclusive use. The Coach House, a former coach house with original wooden beams, offers a more intimate setting for up to 26 seated or 40 standing, while The Saddle centres around a grand circular table and accommodates up to 12 seated or 25 standing.
For seated Christmas dinners, the three-course festive menu offers a choice of seasonal starters, mains and desserts. Begin with glazed goat’s cheese, prawn cocktail, chicken, apricot and pancetta terrine or butternut squash and spiced pumpkin soup, followed by dishes including pan-roasted duck breast, Loch-Reared trout, braised ox cheek or hand-carved turkey with Cumberland pigs in blankets. A root vegetable, cranberry and nut roast provides a vegan option. Desserts include Christmas pudding, Bramley apple, plum and cranberry crumble and dark chocolate torte.
For standing parties, the Christmas muffet offers a selection of casual savoury dishes, including cheeseburger sliders with Camembert and cranberry sauce, crispy monkfish, beef shin croquettes, smoked salmon rillettes and Double Gloucester and pork sausage rolls. Triple chocolate brownie, spiced sticky ginger cake and mince pies can be added for a sweet finish. Seasonal drinks are available throughout the festive period, with drinks packages offered to complement Christmas celebrations.
