The Swan Inn is a 17th century pub and award winning restaurant located in the pretty Cotswold village of Islip. Just off Lower Street.

The Cygnet restaurant is headed by Chef Paul Welburn, and has recently been awarded 3 AA Rosettes at the 2023 AA awards. Paul was previously awarded a Michelin star at The Oxford Kitchen, and brings with him a wealth of experience and expertise. The indulgent and creative Christmas menu has been designed by Paul and the team. The festive party menu is available from mid-November onwards, and includes plenty of delicious sounding traditional dishes, finished with a contemporary twist.
The set Christmas menu includes a glass of bubbles on arrival, followed by a selection of tempting festive dishes such as confit turkey croquette served with cranberry ketchup, and gin cured chalk stream trout served with treacle yoghurt, lemon and tonic.
Main dishes may include slow cooked heritage beef ribeye, served with caramelised swede, and market fish chestnut gnocchi served with brown shrimp, sea vegetables and squash.
Desserts sound equally as tempting, with options such as toasted lemon chiboust, and brown butter cake served with spiced quince.

The festive party menu must be pre-booked and is priced at £78.00 per person. The restaurant welcomes group bookings of 12 and over, with pre-order required 7 days before the event.
