Quality Street announces new flavour for 2021: Meet the Creme Caramel Crisp

Everyone’s favourite Christmas chocolates, Quality Street, has announced a brand-new flavour that will be added to its tins.

Christmas may still be three months away, but retailers are already turning their thoughts to the festive season. This year, Nestle’s Quality Street will welcome a new addition to its line-up of moreish chocolates, with 2021 being the debut year for the Creme Caramel Crisp flavour.

The new sweet boasts a white and gold wrapping and is sure to thrill chocolate lovers, featuring a sweet caramel flavour and finished off with crispy biscuit pieces and a milk and white chocolate coating. In fact, it's the first ever Quality Street sweet to feature white chocolate, so this is really a piece of confectionary history.

This is also a bit of an exclusive addition to the mix, as you won't find the Creme Caramel Crisp in your average Quality Street tin. That's because the white chocolate sweet is only available at participating John Lewis stores, which is where you will also find the now-famous Quality Street pick 'n' mix, which allows you to tailor your tin to your own preferences.

Speaking about the new addition, John Lewis Christmas buyer Lisa Cherry said: “Launching the first ever Quality Street sweet featuring white chocolate is so exciting and we can’t wait to hear what our customers think of this new and exclusive flavour. It’s just one of the ways we are hoping to make more magical moments for our customers this Christmas."

Quality Street is hugely popular in the UK during the Christmas season, with the brand’s factory in Halifax, West Yorkshire currently packing 85 tubs or tins every minute, as well as producing 12 million chocolates per day.
