Originating in New York, wildly popular French restaurant Bagatelle has gone on to scatter siblings around the globe, with locations in Miami, Dubai and St Barths. The group’s London outpost opened its doors in May of 2018, and has already proved itself to be a more than capable events space.
A glamorous setting comes as standard at Bagatelle, and the Mayfair site features the brand’s signature royal blue hues, juxtaposed with jazzy patterns, vividly painted ceilings and plush furnishings. The seasonally-changing menus major in contemporary French fare, with much of the menu designed to share.
Bagatelle offers a range of options for private dining and events. The Main Floor feels like a classic Parisian bistro (albeit a very high-end one), and comes complete with artworks, cosy velvet banquette seating and a bar. This space can be hired out for a seated brunch, lunch or dinner, with a minimum of 15 guests and a maximum of 30.
For event purposes, there is also a high-quality sound system, red, green and blue LED lighting and a DJ booth should you want some entertainment. The hire of the Main Floor can be used for seated meals and standing cocktail receptions, with space for up to 210 guests standing and 150 seated. Note that minimum spends apply, as do additional staffing fees based on the production needs of each event.
In the lounge, there is a semi-private space which is decked out with eye-catching works of art and velvet chairs – available to hire for sit-down meals, the space can host between 15 and 40 guests at one time. If you’re looking for something a little more exclusive, the lounge also offers an entirely private space, which accommodates for up to 60 guests, either for a standing reception or a sit-down breakfast, lunch or dinner.
