We held our wedding reception at the Purple Owl and it was a truly fantastic venue. The staff were very friendly, obliging and helpful and the venue itself was versatile and spacious. We couldn't have hoped for a better day, it was a magical experience at the Purple Owl

I recently visited The Purple Owl in Wandsworth with a friend for some pottery painting, and we had such a lovely time! The place is really spacious, welcoming and has such a nice atmosphere — the perfect place to switch off, get creative and enjoy some quality time together.Upon arrival our creative space was already set up for us which allowed us to dedicate all our time to designing our pottery pieces. There was so much pottery to choose from, including different mugs, cups, bowls, fruit bowls and so much more. There were honestly so many options that it was hard to choose! They also offer canvas painting, so there’s something for everyone whether you’re into pottery or painting.The staff were all so lovely and friendly. There was a gentleman working there whose name I unfortunately didn’t get, but he was incredibly kind and helpful and really added to the experience.They also have food and drinks available. They’re currently in the process of changing their menu, so when we visited there were pizza options and some bakery items, along with a great selection of sodas and hot drinks.I’d definitely recommend The Purple Owl for a date night, trying something a little different, catching up with friends, or simply spending a few hours doing something fun and creative. Such a lovely space and a really enjoyable experience — I’ll definitely be back!
