The property itself offers elegant Georgian interiors for civil ceremonies and receptions, with many of the original features remaining, adding to the venue’s charm. Outside, a series of beautiful lawns and rose gardens provide the perfect backdrop for your special day, as does the great lake, which dates back to the 18th century.
Grove House offers a wide range of locations to accommodate large and small weddings. The largest space is the Portrait Room, which features floor-to-ceiling glass windows, chandeliers and a grand period fireplace, as well as capacity for up to 150 guests. For a smaller ceremony, The Terrace Room is licensed for up to 60 guests and backs onto a covered terrace that overlooks the gardens – a charming space in which to exchange vows.
Outdoor ceremonies are also popular in the summer months, and the extensive gardens are perfect for those who want to say their vows in the great outdoors.
There’s also the option to spend the entire day at Grove House, from the wedding breakfast to the ceremony and reception to evening celebrations. Invite up to 150 guests to join you for a special sit-down meal after the ceremony, plus another 50 in the evening for drinks and a boogie. The Terrace Room is transformed to accommodate DJs or a live band, but you can personalise the event as you like, perhaps with a photobooth or hog roast in the garden? The venue offers every couple exclusive use of the venue, so the whole of Grove House is yours for the day to personalise as you see fit.

It can take a lot of the leg work out of having to source the right people for the job and the team is expert in sourcing suppliers and tailoring your wedding day to go exactly as planned.
