From five-star luxury to trendy hotspots, the West End is full of world-class hotels. We’ve rounded up a few of our favourites for events
Book for fun and funky interiors
This design-driven hotel (think bold patterns and bright colours) is a perfect match for the Theatreland neighbourhood. We’re particularly fond of the idea of a party in its pool area, where you can hire synchronised swimmers for a splash of unusual entertainment.
Book for a classic London hotel with a twist
This iconic hotel has recently had a complete refurb, adding attractive art-deco design touches and playful ornaments to the mix. Drinks receptions are always better on a rooftop (are we right?), and this one has got some pretty epic views of Nelson’s Column.
Book for five-star sophistication
The Langham, London lives up to its title as Europe’s first grand hotel with high ceilings, impressive flower displays and renaissance pillars. Seriously luxe parties should be held in the Grand Ballroom, where the terrace looks out over the hotel’s courtyard rose garden.
Book for the best of both sides of the Chanel
Traditional British design mixes with modern French elegance in both the bedrooms and the function spaces here. Intimate parties are best had in The Balcon’s private dining room for 20, where traditional French dishes reign supreme.
Book for an invitation address that’s hard to beat
Leicester Square is one of those London locations that never really goes to sleep, but inside the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hampshire there’s a more refined atmosphere and plenty of bedrooms for guests to lay their head. Formal dinners in the Penthouse Suite come with views over the Eye and Big Ben.
