If you’ve got some VIPs in your group (or if you and your crew want to feel like VIPs for one night), we’ve got just the thing. Harry’s Dolce Vita has launched a ‘secret’ private dining room, complete with its own separate entrance.

The Canaletto Room is located in the basement of the restaurant and is only accessible through a door on Hans Road, around the corner from the restaurant’s main entrance on Basil Street.

The rest of the restaurant (which opened last December) celebrates the excitement and glamour of 1950’s and 1960’s Italy, both in its food and its décor. The private dining room does the same, but even more extravagant – think a romantic and seductive Godfather-like vibe.

The 14-seater space is clad in oak panelling and brass-framed Venetian mirrors with button detailing. Murano glass wall lights adds a touch of luxury, not to mention a painting in the style of Canaletto – one of Venice’s most famed artists.

And what will they be cooking? Seasonal Italian produce will inspire the menus (think fresh pasta, and pesce e carne all wrapped up in an Italian family sharing style). In other words – great for groups. We’re excited to see what Michelin-experienced chef director Diego Cardoso (formerly of Murano in Mayfair) will plate up.

You can choose between seven set menus with pre-dinner cocktails and canapé receptions as add-ons, or two different sharing menus. The room is also available for lunch.
