Are you a small group looking to be part of a big party? We’ve gathered up the best places to join a shared Christmas party
USP Its medieval theme
This Grade II-listed venue close to Tower Hill is hosting shared Nightfall Banquets from 28 November 2018. It promises five festive courses with sides of knights, jesters, acrobats and dragons. It's also putting on similarly lavish Midday Feast lunches.
USP The walkabout magicians
Fairytale forests are the inspiration for Enchanted 2018 Christmas parties at the Awesome Events-run Fountain Room. Making the most of its advanced lighting tech, the marquee structure becomes a magical land of twinkling trees and snow-laden lampposts in November and December. As well as dinner and drinks, packages include a walkabout magician, photo booth, casino and after-dinner DJ.
USP This year’s LED hula-hoop artists and fire shows
Awesome Events has chosen Cirque Lumiere as the theme for Christmas parties at the Bloomsbury Big Top this year. Guests will arrive at the main space via a sparkling drinks reception and an illuminated walkway. Packages also cover stilt walkers, aerial acts, a casino and a photo booth.
USP Decorations and AV equipment is already sorted
Bookers can devote their entire budget to the drinks, food and entertainment as the necessary festive decor and all-important AV equipment will already be in place. Packages are put together on a bespoke basis by the in-house event team.
USP The festive Northern Lights bar
Guests arriving at the basement of Holborn's Victoria House for 2018 Christmas parties will be transported to an Après-Ski Lodge. Dinner is in a mountain hideaway of gingham-draped tables, timber-panelled walls and stag heads. As well as food and drinks, packages include live music, alpine arcade games, a photo booth, a chocolate fountain and a 'rodeo reindeer' ride.
USP The DJ-powered late-night disco
Awesome Events is inviting Christmas party groups to go 'Through the Wardrobe' at the Hellenic Centre. Riffing on a certain Lewis Carroll classic, evenings begin with sparkling welcome receptions on the Manor House balcony, before guests head downstairs, through the wardrobe and into the Ice Palace dining hall.
