One of London’s most celebrated restaurants, The Ivy is almost as famous as its A-list patrons. Its Private Room has all the prestige of the main dining room, despite being rather easier to get into. This space is decked out in the same distinctive style as downstairs, combining those trademark harlequin stained-glass windows with oak panelling, statement lighting and a stylish bar area – not to mention the baby grand piano in the corner. Exec chef Gary Lee and his team can create seasonal menus for each event. Expect the likes of spinach and quail’s egg tart, followed by the restaurant’s signature shepherd’s pie and malted milk panna cotta.
