Great value from the set price menu
Visited Saturday lunchtime before heading off to the rugby at Twickenham. Good choice on the menu and noticed that the starter and main course I would have chosen from the a la carte menu were also on the set price menu. Started with Kapusniak, a substantial soup of Sauerkraut, pork and sausage, followed by a main course of lamb stew with pumpkin. My fellow diners chose duck rillettes and chargrilled pork neck with vegetables from the set price menu at £19.50 for two courses or £22.50 for three courses. The price includes a Bloody Mary or a Bellini. A bottle of good Hungarian red at £21.00 and the bill including a cheese board, one glass of port and three coffees was £133 including 12.5% service charge for four people.
A really good start for what turned out to be an excellent day with England edging past Ireland at Twickenham. Would definitely come again, maybe in the evening to sample the extensive range of vodka.
