A prominent figure in the London restaurant scene, Abhishake Sangwan’s career spans luxury hotels, pioneering bar concepts, and Michelin star restaurants (Tamarind, Trishna, Gymkhana, and Jamavar, to name just a few). Sangwan first partnered with Michelin star chef Rohit Ghai to open Kutir in 2018, followed by other concepts, including Manthan and KoolCha. The most recent addition, Vatavaran, sees Sangwan champion Indian fine dining with an experience founded on modern culinary trends and holistic, highly rewarding hospitality.

Celebrated for his innovative approach to contemporary Indian cooking, Rohit Ghai has spent time at the helm of some of London’s most in-demand Indian restaurants, including Benares, Trishna, Gymkhana and Jamavar. At the latter, his approach earned the restaurant a Michelin star within just ten months of opening. Since then, Rohit has gone on to launch several solo ventures celebrating India’s vast and rich traditions, from vibrant street food concepts to elevated fare flecked with individuality and ambition.

Very tasty food, some dishes resemble fine dining, others more norm. All dishes tasted delicious. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very good service. We had a really enjoyable meal and time.
