My husband and I went for a Birthday lunch. Although we live locally we haven,t visited for a few years, but because the reviews were great we thought we,d give it a try.
We,ve taken our dog to many a pub, but this one really smelt of wet dog a smell that would not go away, so quite off putting. Just a flimsy piece of paper for a menu and a very short limited menu too. The chair covers were dirty and the window bench seat very wobbly. however the food was ok thankfully. although I did request a small cake for one with a candle on and nothing appeared. we left and we will not be going back.
