Inside is small but well decked out with everything you need to have a great time. There are plenty of bar seats, along with wooden furnishings that will remind you how close you are to the seaside.
Although the bar doesn’t serve food, they do serve a list of salty snacks. The team is really friendly, and will help you order a pizza (with personal recommendations) if you're hungry. There's also a small courtyard garden, which is open whenever the weather permits, and dogs on leads are welcome, along with children until 6pm. The team is proud to shout that they are an inclusive space and any racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or ableism will not be tolerated. Anyone found to be making other customers or staff feel uncomfortable will be asked to leave.
The Twelve Taps have twelve lines of craft beer on tap, which are always served fresh and perfectly chilled. Although the line up changes frequently, you can be sure that you'll always get a crisp, tasty pint, with a well balanced list. There's always at least one gluten free beer on draught, and beer flights come in three thirds of beers. There's also a seasonal cocktail menu which features a selection of the in house Whitstable Gin, along with refreshing Spritz', deliciously punchy ciders, and a whole Negroni library, along with plenty of fantastic non alcoholic options.
