Located on Newquay's famous Fistral Beach, The Stable is a casual restaurant which serves a pizza-focused menu and benefits from stunning sea views. The contemporary building looks like an American diner from the front, while the back of The Stable towers over the North side of the beach. The inside of the restaurant features long wooden tables which are candle-lit during the evenings, and there is also a terrace area which allows for outdoor dining when the weather allows it. The focal point of the restaurant, however, is its impressive panoramic window which looks right out over the sea and provides breath-taking views of the coastline, particularly as the sun sets in the evenings.
When it comes to the food at The Stable, the affordable menu is largely based around sourdough pizzas which are freshly made and topped with locally and responsibly sourced ingredients. Pizzas range from classics like a margherita and a Hawaiian to some more unusual combinations like The Blazing Saddle which comes topped with slow roasted pulled beef, crispy bacon, mozzarella, roasted peppers, red onion marmalade, jalapeños and homemade garlic aioli. As well as pizzas there are also some sharing plates on offer such as baked camembert and a charcuterie board, and also salads and desserts.
Drinks available at the Stable range from a selection of wines, draught beers and spirits, to a choice of soft drinks. There is also a dedicated cider menu featuring ciders from all across the globe.
