Found on Chelsea’s quaint Pavilion Road, The Sea, The Sea is a contemporary fishmonger and deli by day, before becoming a sit-in seafood and Champagne bar by night. Bonnie Gull co-founder Alex Hunter is the man behind the venture, which promotes the use of sustainably sourced fish.
In the day, you can expect to find the likes of native lobster and langoustine, as well as halibut and turbot, all available to take home. Other items to buy from the deli include pies, ceviches and house-made sauces and marinades. In the evening, guests can sit at the oyster bar and enjoy by-the-glass wines and grower Champagnes, while snacking on a daily-changing menu of small plates, bowls and shellfish platters.
