The food is nice here, never had a bad meal. Only issue is its popularity. I was put on a small high table, which doesn't work for me at all. I'd actually go as far as saying I wouldn't return during peak hours

So upset after looking forward to a Christmas lunch with my friend who travelled to London to meet up. We booked S&S Covent Garden a few weeks ago. From memory the last time we visited at the end of 2019 the food was delicious.... not the case on Friday. Food was definitely prepared and the hot dishes were just warm and bland. The prawn tempura was not crispy or hot. The miso cod very disappointing warm and tasteless. After paying over £100 just for food and be rushed from our table to pay the bill despite lots of empty tables I can't recommend it and won't be returning. The staff seemed very stressed and we had 3 different servers. If you have a special occasion AVOID
