SquareMeal Review of Stein's

A five-minute walk along the river from Richmond Bridge you’ll find this Bavarian restaurant specialising in piles of steaming sauerkraut topped with sausages, and other German delicacies stodgy enough to line the stomach against the heavy-duty German beers on offer. Its best-kept secret? A huge, riverside beer garden.

Overpriced tasteless food
11 July 2020

Overpriced sausages from Aldi heated up in the microwave for £14 and tasteles wattery soup for £6.50. Enyone who has ever tasted real German food in their life will tell that this is an complete joke. Even the beer tastes like water. Can't really understand the prople giving 5 stars and claiming the food is very good and decently priced. Must be very sarcastic reviews or writen by the owner.
That was my first time after 2 years when I had the same experience. Tought they have improved but they clearly not. Same crap food only more pricey. The only good thing about this place is a good spot. Will never come back nor recommend to anyone.
