Located in Clifton Down station, on the outskirts of Bristol City Centre, Steam may be best known for its party scene, but it also offers a quirky and unique space to tuck into everything from bottomless brunch, to locally brewed tipples. Embodying the lively atmosphere of your typical boozer, Steam balances a kind of industrial-chic and steampunk-style within its walls, with exposed piping, wood-panelled walls, and an abundance of fairy lights and moodily-lit bulbs that just add to the ambience.
Not only that, here you’ll find one of the largest covered and heated terraces in the city, making it a perfect spot for al fresco dining all year round. A large stretch tent covers bench seating, decorated with bunting and perched right next to the site’s iconic red bus which is parked out in the garden. There's a weekly quiz night, plenty of fun bottomless brunches that you can book onto, and there are a whole range of excellent student offers that you can make use of, no matter what time of day that you're visiting. There's always a great selection of beers and ciders on tap, sourced from local South West breweries, including the exclusive Home of The Brew range.
Steam is open daily, offering a great spot for a couple of drinks, but every Friday and Saturday, Pig's Pizzas pop up at Steam, serving delicious neapolitan dough with piggy toppings. Choose from classics like margherita with fior di latte and parmesan cheese on a basil and tomato base, funghi with sliced mushrooms, and the Pig's pepperoni, along with specials like the truffle pig with torn prosciutto cotto, sliced mushrooms and cheese with black truffle oil, the hot dog and garlic gascon with parsley and oregano butter.
