About

Perched at the lofty heights of the 60th floor of the tallest office building in London, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High has given new meaning to the idea of dining with the stars. High is one of three new restaurants Ramsay is set to open at the Liverpool Street landmark next year, alongside a roof terrace bar and a Gordon Ramsay Cookery Academy. Led by the same team behind Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, the chef’s three-Michelin star spot in Chelsea, High will be a 12-seat chef’s table experience, creating one of the most exclusive dining experiences in London in an astonishing setting.

While the elevator journey up to the restaurant might be almost as long as the duration of the meal itself, the jaw-dropping views of Tower Bridge and St Paul’s Cathedral from High make the journey to the top worth it (albeit not one for the vertiginous). Set at 269 metres above ground, High has taken the ‘London’s highest restaurant’ crown from Duck & Waffle, which sits at a comparatively paltry 40th floor in the Salesforce tower a few blocks away. High’s interiors are slick, luxurious and pared back - allowing the epic panoramic views to take centre stage.

If the menu is anything like that of Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, expect sublimely executed modern European-inspired dishes, and perhaps the restaurant’s signature lobster, langoustine and salmon ravioli will even make an appearance.

On the same floor as High will be another outpost of Ramsay’s Asian-inspired restaurant Lucky Cat, adding to its portfolio of sites in Mayfair, Manchester and Miami. A Lucky Cat Roof Terrace is also set to open, serving cocktails until 3am. On the floor below will be another Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, offering a more approachable dining experience to this mix, along with The Gordon Ramsay Academy, teaching students how to master everything from sushi to Ramsay’s signature Beef Wellington.
