Launched in 2016, Ponti’s Italian Kitchen in Fox Valley, Sheffield is a family-run Italian restaurant that brings Emilia-Romagna heritage cuisine to Yorkshire.
Situated within the Fox Valley shopping and leisure centre in north Sheffield, Ponti’s is easily accessed from Stocksbridge and Sheffield city. The restaurant occupies a generously proportioned two-storey space. Overlooking landscaped gardens and fountains, the venue features an elegant prosecco bar with balcony seating, a ground-floor dining room, and a private dining area upstairs for up to 60 guests. Outdoor tables enjoy views of the landscaped piazza, extending much of the year thanks to integrated firepits.
Open daily with breakfast on weekends and all-day dining, Ponti’s offers a broad menu affirming authentic Italian flavours. Its breakfast spread includes a traditional full English alongside Italian-style lighter options such as eggs benedict and avocado on sourdough. The main menu is rooted in Ponti’s Piacenzan heritage and features antipasti, small plates, salumi e formaggi, sourdough pizzas, pasta, risotto, josper-grilled meats, fish and steak. Highlights include burrata with parma ham, fried calamari, arancini, grilled octopus, and pizzas like margherita, diavola or house speciality Emilia with parma ham and parmigiano reggiano. Signature mains span fillet steak, sea bass, halibut, lamb cutlets, and a range of pasta and risotto dishes. A gluten-free and vegan menu offers salads, bruschetta, pizzas, and risottos, with options for dietary needs.
Ponti’s earned the prestigious Ospitalità Italiana accreditation, recognising its authentic cuisine and Italian-style hospitality, making it one of only a handful in the UK to hold this award.
