Sky Garden at the Walkie Talkie building 20 Fenchurch Street The Sky Garden complex of three restaurants at the top of London’s iconic Walkie Talkie building has opened. Of course, with the Heron Tower (Sushisamba, Duck & Waffle), The Shard (Aqua Shard, Oblix, Ting) and Tower 42 (City Social) all having launched restaurants in the last couple of years, Londoners are now spoilt for choice with skyscraper dining. What is it? A café by day and a cocktail bar by night.
To eat? Soups, paninis (available to take away) and charcuterie boards.
Worth knowing: There’ll be a ‘seasonally changing bar’ with cashmere blankets in winter and deck chairs in summer. There are stunning views of the Thames too.

Floor: 36
What is it? An all-day brasserie
To eat? Think prawn cocktail with Bloody Mary dressing, beetroot-cured smoked salmon, fish and chips and their signature venison pie.
Worth knowing: Open for breakfast.

Fenchurch Seafood Bar & Grill Fenchurch seafood bar and grill Walkie Talkie building
Floor: 37
What is it? A fine-dining seafood restaurant at the very top of the building.
To eat? Think Oscietra caviar, Duchy native oysters, glazed pork cheek with butternut squash purée, lamb cutlets and 10oz fillet on the bone.
Worth knowing: Impressive 180 degree west-facing views and there’s an indoor cocktail terrace overlooking the Sky Pod below.
