Set just moments from Tottenham Hale station, Mother Kelly’s Tottenham is a stripped-back, no-fuss taproom where the drinks do all the talking. Housed in a striking, glass-fronted warehouse with soaring 9-metre-high ceilings, this laid-back spot blends industrial charm with a community feel - and plenty of fridge space for serious beer exploration.
Inspired by New York’s iconic taprooms, Mother Kelly’s offers a refreshingly open approach to drinking. Guests are encouraged to help themselves to bottles and cans from the fridge or pick from an ever-changing lineup of top-notch brews on tap. Whether you’re staying in or grabbing a few for the road, the quality never drops – they’re passionate about what they pour and the people who make it.
The food offering is short, sharp, and exactly what you want alongside a cold one. Think proper bar snacks: salted peanuts, chilli rice crackers, or a bowl of pork scratchings. There’s freshly baked bread with hummus or tzatziki for the dip lovers, and sharing boards for when you’re feeling peckish - from cured meats to a cheese board stacked with soft, hard, and blue varieties, crackers and chutney. It’s easy-going, unfussy fare that lets the beer shine but still delivers on flavour.
This is the first Mother Kelly’s site to house its own mix fermentation Blendery, so keep an eye out for in-house brews and the opportunity to sample blends fresh from the source. It's an exciting new chapter in the MK story, adding a little something extra to an already beloved formula.
Walk-ins are the name of the game, but the team are happy to take bookings for bigger groups. Whether you're meeting mates for post-work pints, celebrating something (or nothing at all), or just popping in to top up the fridge at home, Mother Kelly’s Tottenham is the sort of place that makes you want to stay for just one more.
