Fitz's Bar & Parlour is the elegant lounge and bar at the five star Kimpton Fitzroy London Hotel in Bloomsbury.
Inside the hotel you’ll find Fitz’s is made up of both Fitz’s Brasserie - the restaurant’s all-day restaurant and brasserie - as well as Fitz’s Bar and Fitz’s Parlour. The former is a glamorous drinking den, adorned with Victorian ornaments and curiosities, large period fireplace, ostrich features, plush velvet sofas and an oversize mirrorball.
This is home to the Kimpton Fitzroy London’s signature cocktail menu - SPECTRUM - which explores the impact of different senses on drinks. Specifically, SPECTRUM delves into the wonders of synaesthesia - a condition that allows people to sense colours via smell, taste, and hearing. Guests are asked to choose their cocktail via a colour wheel, with different colours representing different flavour profiles. Fitz’s Bar’s expert mixologists make this one of London’s most intriguing, unique cocktail experiences - certainly worth a visit.
Cocktails on the SPECTRUM menu include ‘Black Hole’ (Sipsmith gin, mezcal, amontillado sherry, shiitake mushroom, banana, and walnut) and ‘Lucky 4’ (Whisky, brandy, bourbon, green cordial, herbal air). Please note, tables at Fitz’s Bar are available by reservation only.
Meanwhile, at the front of the bar you’ll find Fitz’s Parlour, a casual all-day spot where you can stop for a coffee in the morning, or a nightcap after dinner. Easy-going all-day food options are available here too, like a New York strip steak sandwich, buffalo wings with blue cheese and maple cream, dry-aged beef burger with cheese and bacon, or lobster brioche roll.
Fitz's Bar & Parlour also hosts live music every Tuesday and Wednesday, welcoming solo performances and duos for a couple of hours.
