flatscreen TV, & enjoying potently aromatic, flavour-packed food from the tuned-up kitchen. For starters, a shared helping of butter chicken is the house speciality, though the ‘healthy option’
of tandoori tilapia fish also has distinctive merits. Next, lamb chops are suffused with a punchy garam masala spice mix, while vegetable jalfrezi shows an African influence with sweetcorn joining
the more familiar peppers & mushrooms. Desserts veer from traditional gulab jamun to westernised strawberry cheesecake.

Food was very tasty and fresh. Our waiter ferenandes turned a simple meal into a truly wonderful dining experience. Very impressive. Will be back!!

15 of us went on a sunday evening, we being asian know a good curry. But it was terrible service, food and staff. we had the biggest table in the restaurant, but no dedicated waiter, looks like we were the wrong ‘colour’. no popadums were put in the tables, despite there being chutneys on the table already. different staff kept asking for our drink orders, no communication between staff. starters were small and indifferent, this was after the waiters took ages to ask us. the chicken curry was like boiled chicken thrown into a curry sauce. terrible! lamb curry was ok. rest was average. it was pricey, we complained there and then to the owner, he gave us £20 discount for the horrible experience from the £350+ bill! When we complained again the following day, got short shrift. RUBBISH, NEVER AGAIN, DO NOT GO!!!

A private function with an extortionate bar bill.
When challenged about the cost and a breakdown the restaurant produced an A4 sheet with hand written notes! We challenged the quantities of beer which I still dispute.
When challenged why so much – the answer was that every spirit measure they had poured was a DOUBLE.
When asked why they poured doubles without checking with the customer …was told it was restaurant practice.
Not happy. The restaurant should not assume and take it upon themselves to choose what measures they pout without clarifying with customer.
Beware and check with staff with what you are ordering and what they are serving.
My experience was not a matter of pounds but of over £500.00!!!
Very bad experience leaving an awful taste in my mouth – not what you want leaving a so called quality restaurant.
