The menu celebrates the best of British produce, with a strong focus on freshness and flavour. Small plates such as warm sourdough with salted butter, crispy potatoes with aioli and chilli jam, or oxtail croquettes with harissa aioli are perfect to share while deciding on something more substantial. Starters like summer gazpacho with crème fraîche and marcona almonds, or Cornish mussels with cider and Rodda’s cream, bring bold flavours and seasonal flair.
Mains are hearty and satisfying. Highlights include Cornish lamb rump with roasted cherry tomatoes, Portland crab linguine with bisque and basil, and Devonshire chicken breast served with braised white beans, confit garlic and barbecued courgettes.
