Set 59 floors above the City, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar at 22 Bishopsgate marks a major milestone for Gordon Ramsay Restaurants as it celebrates its 100th opening worldwide. Following the success of Lucky Cat at the same address, this striking new flagship for Bread Street Kitchen is the most ambitious yet.
Bread Street Kitchen & Bar has become a global name over its 15-year history, with outposts across China, Singapore and Dubai, but the 22 Bishopsgate location represents its most elevated expression yet. Here, an all-day dining experience has been designed around the rhythm of the City, beginning with breakfast from 6.30am on weekdays and flowing seamlessly through lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and late-night service. From Thursday to Saturday, the venue stays open until 3am, making it one of London’s few true morning-till-late destinations.
Executive Head Chef Kamarl Rees John oversees a menu of more than 35 dishes, spanning Lobster Benedict and Hot Cakes at breakfast to Galician T-bone steak and Meyer lemon cheesecake on the à la carte. Menus at Bread Street Kitchen have always championed great British ingredients and cooking, but this one has a distinct international twist to it, featuring dishes like lobster and prawn toast, Wagyu meatballs in tomato sauce, and butter chicken curry, alongside classics like roast cod with crushed potatoes, and the famous Ramsay beef Wellington for two.
A tasting menu debuts for the first time at Bread Street Kitchen, offering five courses and snacks that highlight the creativity of the kitchen, alongside two additional set menus ideal for groups and celebrations. Adding to its breadth, the venue includes a dedicated sports bar with a 24-hour licence, offering premium viewing of global sporting events, plus DJ sets from Thursday to Saturday and live music on Sundays.
