Ornate wood carvings, mini palm trees and friendly staff in colourful silk tunics are par for the course in this rather sophisticated Thai restaurant and bar. As expected, the 70-dish menu covers all the staples of the cuisine from chicken satay, spring rolls, fishcakes and soft-shell crabs with garlic and pepper sauce to an assortment of familiar tom yum soups, stir-fries, curries of various colours, grills and noodles. Also check the seafood specials include pan-fried whole sea bass with served with a Thai salad or sizzling ta-lay phad cha (a mixed selection with fresh herbs and chillis). Set menus (from £17.95 a head) offer a decent choice for sharing, and the drinks list runs from Asian beers to some spice-friendly international wines.
