My partner and I visited Bills restaurant in Lewes on Thursday evening the 2nd of January 2020
and although the restaurant appeared inviting, unfortunately the food was not!
the starter of prawn cocktail was not as described in the menu. A small bowl crammed with iceberg lettuce, a few icy cold prawns covered in a an unidentifiable sauce and tomatoes. Truly horrid! The best part of the starter was the spiced tortillas. The main course was fine except that £13.25 is rather a lot for a fish pie with no accompany of vegetables.
This was our first visit and I think it is also the last.
