Set in the picturesque Warwickshire countryside, The Boot is a charming pub and restaurant that combines modern elevated food, a world-wide wine list, with cheerful pub atmosphere, contemporary decor, and quality cask ales.

This much-loved Indian restaurant does a roaring trade in takeaways and dining-in, and is popular for big celebrations thanks to its excellent service and willingness to add some theatrics where necessary. Lavang has every base covered - no wonder it's so busy all the time. Booking is highly recommended. 

The Malt Shovel in the Solihull countryside is an award-winning contemporary British gastropub. The menu features plenty of hearty pub favourites, emboldened by modern techniques and complemented by the surroundings of a whimsical barn restaurant.

Great Indian curries, attentive service, and a charming atmosphere - what more could you wish for? Panchuli specialises in elegant Indian cuisine, so along with the usual bhajis and samosas, expect delicate fish and meat dishes.

The location is a big part of the selling point for The Barn, which boasts huge panoramic windows in the dining room that look out over the Meridien countryside. The food sticks to classic British flavours, but there's a bakery on site too. There's an excellent Sunday roast on offer here too.

The second of Hampton Manor's superb restaurants, Kynd is a more accessible offering from Grace & Savour chef patron David Taylor, but champions the same outstanding, biodynamic produce as the flagship restaurant. The menu is packed with easy-going comfort food, albeit with ingenious little twists that still make it feel special.

Our UK Restaurant of the Year in 2023 is just a short drive from Solihull, based at Hampton Manor in lovely Hampton-in-Arden. Chef patron David Taylor and wife Anette run every aspect of this beautiful, Scandi-led restaurant, and it really does feel like an extension of their home. Taylor's remarkable cooking is some of the best in the country - lucky for Solihull locals, it's right on the doorstep.

Perhaps the best known of Solihull's fine dining spots, Cheal's has long had an excellent reputation as an intimate setting for special occasions. Modern British menus are executed with precision, and staff have an old-school charm. The wine list is also very impressive, ensuring that Cheal's remains a standout choice after all these years. 

A traditional Earlswood inn if ever there was one, The Red Lion serves seasonal plates of pub-inspired dishes perfect for date lunches and family gatherings. Plus, the garden terrace is a top spot for alfresco drinks.
