This traditional Spanish joint is the work of chef and restaurateur Victor Garvey, who already oversees tapas bar Rambla in Soho. Barullo is a colourful space which serves up lunch and dinner, as well as takeaway options for time-short City workers.
Dishes include the likes of Barullo’s take on KFC (this time meaning Kiko Fried Chicken) – chicken brined in sherry lees and dusted in roasted corn nuts, and fried with pepper chutney. Elsewhere on the menu, you can tuck into roasted and pressed suckling pig with salsa verde and green apple coleslaw, or a paella featuring prawns, confit pork belly and piquillo peppers.
For dessert, try the toasted coconut ice cream topped with sour cherry marmalade, while there’s a selection of Spanish wines and beers to sip on while you dine.
