Went on a Saturday at 19.15 on a first date. It was quiet except for the long bar in the other a joining room, where a party was taking place. Come 8pm the whole place was packed including the cute, warm shish garden at the back. The two waiters there were both first class. Even though it was busy, (with what appeared to be three/four separate parties), they were so attentive and very helpful. Even though we were only having starters, (due to my date being vegetarian), not once were we rushed or treated any less of a customer, unlike many other restaurants I've been too, and we were there till 22.30, finishing our delicious wine in the garden…very romantic.
Not only was the food and wine very reasonably priced, and delicious, far beter value wine than most restaurants in London, the atmosphere was great. We were never kept waiting and very clean, considering the place was packed in both areas. I really have to thank the two wondetful, and gorgeous waiters for making the experience that much better. I eat out in London at least once a week and I've never had this much help and effective waiters, besides in a five star restaurant.
They also provided a great belly dancer, a proper one, not a wana be!
The only thing that I can say that bothered me was how loud the music was during the belly dancing…very loud you couldn't think, but it was free entertainment and lasted about 20min, and a bit gutted the dancer picked out most of the men, instead of the woman, as I would have liked to have a jiggle :(
Thank-you to the chiefs, the owners, and especially the waiters, (who even made time to take pics for me), for making our date very memorable. Can not fault it at all, everyone was friendly, smiley, and very welcoming. Have diffinately encouraged my hard to please sister who loves kebabs to checkout this place with the family.
Worth every penny. I can see why it gets so busy.
Will definitely be going back, as I really would like to try out their very interesting, wide selection of teas as well.
