SquareMeal Review of Tamesis Dock

A converted 1930s Dutch barge permanently moored between Lambeth and Vauxhall Bridge, the Tamesis Dock now functions as a floating pub, live music venue and events space with some of the best river views in the capital. Beer drinkers can quaff pints of Camden Pale Ale, Black Isle porter or Cornish Orchard cider, along with a handful of bottled world beers; there’s also a modest choice of wines and spirits for those with different preferences. Food-wise, think sharing platters, burgers, wraps and a handful of mains ranging from fish and chips to Spanish tortilla; weekend brunch is also a popular draw. Up-and-coming bands are regularly on stage, DJs spin the decks and Tamesis also plays host to the Finnstock Music Festival.
