This two-floor restaurant dedicated to all things kebab comes from the team behind Le Bab in Shoreditch. Part of the new Mercer Walk development (which is also home to Neil Rankin’s third Temper site), Maison Bab boasts a rotating menu of six kebabs according to what’s in season, but you might find the likes of onglet kebab with green peppercorn mayo and watercress, or a vegan option of slow-grilled celeriac shish with carrot purée and crispy onions. Elsewhere, there’s a selection of mezze dishes, sides and desserts, while drinks are covered via wines-by-the-glass and craft beers. The Covent Garden site also features a 10-seater chef’s table downstairs, where you can watch the head chef at work. Takeaway and delivery for those in the area is available too.
