Even in an area packed with Vietnamese delights, you can’t miss Keu with its bright, neon green signage and glass windows, giving you a peek of glistening, hanging meat, sleek interiors and colourful bottles of chilli and fish sauces, creating the mood for what Keu does best: banh mi, a sort of Vietnamese baguette. From the same stable as Viet Grill and Cay Tre, Keu's team
manages to dish out traditional fillings such as barbecue pork with coriander or xiu mai (pork meatballs in spicy gravy), but also introduces soon-to-be-favourites like the juicy and surprisingly
filling Keu classic: pork belly with ham terrine and chicken liver pâté, all snug between crusty, fluffy baguettes. Although primarily a speedy takeaway service, there is also a small eat-in
area. An ever-changing daily specials board features hot dishes, salads and crisp spring rolls, while Vietnamese coffee and fresh juice are also on offer.
