Efes 2 says

Efes 2 is a atmospheric and animated Turkish restaurant that is a fun place for parties and nights out with friends. Located in the heart of the West End in Great Portland Street, this colourful and cosy eatery is decorated with blue ceilings, Turkish lamps, lemon-coloured walls and wooden furniture, and Efes 2 has a basement dining room which hosts live entertainment and belly dancers every week. The menu is filled with a selection of crowd-pleasing kebabs, steaks, and meze platters – we love the aubergines stuffed with onions, tomatoes, parsley and garlic; the charcoal-grilled leg of chicken marinated, rolled and skewered with peppers and mushrooms; and the diced lamb and onion kebab.

Food is very fresh and nicely cooked. Vegetables are fresh and crisp. Borek portions are generous and delicious. Tarama is beautifully prepared and very delicate. Service is very courteous, prompt and efficient - I popped round for a quick lunch and it was really quick but I still enjoyed every minute. will be coming back.

Small Turkish restaurant with 1970’s interior décor, authentic cuisine, generous portions. For casual dining only, plus belly dancing sessions also take place at the lower ground floor on some evenings
