‘Fast-casual’ Persian food to eat in or take out is the USP at all-day Dindin Kitchen – a sprightly ethnic eatery which already has one outpost on busy Gray’s Inn Road. Pop in for baked eggs or pick up a creamy bircher muesli pot for breakfast; feast on tender, marinated chicken skewers with colourful, fragrant rice and salad for lunch; or grab one of the warm flatbread wraps to take back to work (perhaps falafel with pomegranate and yoghurt). You can also get various rice dishes, pastries, sides and savoury soufflés – try the springy, puffed-up version with chicken, lemon and saffron. The light, white interior, open fridges and takeaway-style containers point to a quick pay-and-go fix, but you can also settle in for a proper sit-down dinner and the venue is soon to have a booze licence. Dindin does free local deliveries too.
